Good things come to those who wait. For the last couple of months, I've been practising my ability to be patient, and now, finally the wait is over! I am extraordinarily excited to say, that I will be packing my bags in two weeks for... wait for it.... MILANO!

I am full of mixed emotions! I'm excited, I feel so ready! This is just what I wanted! I feel lucky, fortunate to be able to have an opportunity like this. I feel nervous! And and a little scared! And sad... I am going to miss my darling boyfriend so much! But also, I feel at peace. After waiting, and preparing myself in mind and body for what feels like ages, I finally have come into a new place, a place of travel and excitement, a place of opportunity!

There is so much to be done; the papers that have to me processed, the logistics, the planning... and yet, what is most heavy on my mind are the people. Home. I am leaving home once again, and that means saying good by to all my wonderful, gorgeous friends who have stood by me and told me I'm beautiful no matter what my measurements are, and my family who sees the best in me and continues to teach me through love that I can be that shining star. And Josh. How am I going to leave Josh? The lower-school friendship that manifested into a teenage romance, and now, we're 20, and it's been three years. And I love him... and now I have to leave. All of this hurts.

The pain and the joy are what make life so interesting. And truly wonderful.
