Veronique Landry Wow, I am finally here and feeling like myself again!!! This is my first time having jet lag and I wake up super early every morning.

Actually I have been using this to my advantage and I have started a very healthy routine of running, swimming and have a light breakfast, all before 7:00 a.m.!!!

I am renting a room in a house. I feel very welcome and on my first day Caroline (the owner) took me for coffee and showed me my way around (and a short cut to the beach).

She is very friendly and has two young kids. Her place is very homey!!

Oh... did I mention that I live five minutes from THE BEACH!!!


Tamarama Beach Australia is just so amazing, beautiful palm trees, hot sunny days and it's 35 degrees today. The ocean is turquoise the beaches are huge and the sand is so white. This is really paradise! From my bedroom windows I can hear PARROTS in the backyard... I am still a bit in shock. I have to say, this place is wonderful but also very different from where I have been before...

I love my agency and I am surprised how easily I am finding my way around... I am still struggling a bit with the Australian accent (remember Je suis Quebecoise) but people are very helpful.

I have been pretty busy with castings... I ran into a fellow Canadian Jae (Sutherland Models). She is also downunder for the season with Chadwick agency... We didn't have time to chat much but I am sure we will bump into each other again!!!
