LG Fashion WeekDay ONE
David Dixon took center stage on opening night of Toronto's LG Fashion Week, with the only shows of the evening; his signature collection as well a line inspired by Barbie.
Modelresource was "tweeting" from onsite, but a quick look at Twitter this morning shows many of the messages didn't make it. So here, in photos, is a summary of Day ONE.
Again this season Modelresource would like to thank Felix Wong (www.felixwongphoto.com) for the amazing photographs he provides.
Freshly back from Paris where she walked for the likes of Louis Vuitton and YSL, Elise Gatschene opened David Dixon's collection.

Elmer Olsen's Bojana Reljic is also coming off a stellar show season.
Modelresource told you about her exclusive appearance for Calvin Klein last month.
She followed it up with a slew of runways in Europe, including Yohji Yamamoto, Giambattista Valli and Kris Van Assche.

After a bit of a hiatus from Toronto's runways it was nice to see Elmer Olsen's Madeleine Berrevoets back, and looking fantastic!

If it's fashion week, expect to be seeing plenty of Ford's Leah Christ. The Vancouver model (with LizBell) has been as busy as any runway model in Toronto's recent seasons.

Giovanni brought an entire crew of its Montréal models to Toronto, including Magalie Daignault, Christiane Sophie, Marie-Hélène McCormack, Stefanie Nazoyan, Victoria Denofrio and Jessica Bokota.

Former Ford and Stylus Director Cynthia Cully recently opened her own agency, called Spot 6 Management.
More details on Cully's new venture will follow in the next week or two.
In the interim, here is Spot 6's lovely Nicole.
