Another of the editorials that didn't make it into print for Spade's summer issue, but makes me hopeful for the publication's return, is this Karen Roze (www.karenroze.com) story featuring Next's Cailin Hill and Spot 6's Nicole Jedrzejko.
Our first post mentioned we would be keeping an eye on her.
Well...
The 5'10" blonde has now completed her first tour of duty in Tokyo, where Bravo booked her with such clients as Commes des Garçons, Converse and Lancome, while building her editorial experience.
Below, some of the new images coming back across the Pacific, to give you a taste of how far this (soon-to-be) Grade 12 student has come.

Spade is my favourite of the Canadian print mags.
It reminds me (and many others) of the now-defunct Highrise; a heavy bond, large format with an accelerated fashion aesthetic and well penned articles that focused on living beyond retail.
Sadly, the Ottawa-based quarterly is suspending its print edition until winter, at the earliest.
This never-released cover and its accompanying story, "She's All That" - featuring Next Vancouver's Kelsey Van Mook - were photographed by Francisco Garcia (www.franciscogarcia.com).

Folio's Charlotte Le Bon
Modelresource has been an ardent fan of Charlotte Le Bon since we first caught sight of her.
In fact, she was the third Featured Model on this website, but we started tracking her months before that, in May of 2007.
Now the Folio model will likely be taking a break from castings and go-sees, following news out of France today that she has signed on as "Miss Météo" on the enormously popular television News/Talk program "Le Grand Journal."
No one is making official statements at this time, but judging by the fact that by 3:00 p.m. Modelresource was already 10,000+ visitors ahead of yesterday, this can only be positive for the 24-year-old Québecoise.

Sutherland models nab more Filler exposure this month, with the release of Miguel Jacob's new story "A Vibrant Thing." (see it here).
When I reached him last week the Montréal-based photographer was in San Diego, having spent the previous day mountain biking in Colorado (a night under the desert stars split up the journey... rough life!).
Back in Canada meanwhile, his work continues to show up in magazines, on store fronts, bus shelters, online, an so on.
Pictured on the right is the cover of the premiere issue of Shock & Awe Magazine (Toronto), featuring Folio's Abla.
Below are the new campaign images for Montréal labels Rudsak (with former Featured ModelsFelix and Jessiann - both Montage) and Indus+ry, featuring Dulcedo's Catherine Cloutier.
Last I heard, Duncan was heading north on Interstate 5. Destination: Los Angeles
These images of the 5'10" blue-eyed blonde (with Spot 6 in Toronto and Montage in Montréal) were taken by Taylor James (taylorjamesphoto.com).

Former Modelresource featured model Britt Schafer is sure having a great month.
The Next Vancouver model - currently working in Europe - now appears in Hong Kong's Splux magazine, SOMA from California and the Evan & Dean lookbook, shot by Greg Swales.
A behind-the-scenes look at a Chris Haylett (www.chrishaylett.com) shoot for the upcoming issue of Z!NK Canada gives another look at the 5'9" blonde (alongside fellow Next Vancouver model Alex G.).
Shawna Johnson isn't someone that gets a lot of attention on this continent, but over the past few years the Panache model has done quite well for herself on the other side of the Pacific.
Recent years have seen the Winnipegger working quite successfully between Korea, Singapore, Shanghai, Malaysia, Beijing, Thailand, Taipei, Hong Kong and other Asian destinations, with time spent working in Europe as well.
The 5'10½" brown-eyed brunette is back in Canada right now, with recent covers of Shape (Singapore) and Elle (Hong Kong) tucked in her portfolio.
