Watch for a new fashion magazine hitting Canadian newstands in February, with some well-established names behind it.

Passion Magazine is branding itself as a high-end Fashion & Lifestyle magazine, but with a defintite multicultural focus.

The magazine's Editor-in-Chief, Lonelle Selbo, tells Modelresource the new magazine will be a mix of new and emerging talent - from photographers to designers and models - with a "strong mix of backgrounds."

Selbo, who is a major contributor to Lush Magazine also has the former Fashion Editor at Jasmine Magazine (and IA Management model), Luan Avram on board as Fashion & Beauty Editor.

New Canadian fashion magazines are, of course, always good news for models. Passion will be a glossy 9x11½ format (so the tear sheets will fit nicely in portfolios).

Modelresource was on set Wednesday for the first ever editorial shoot (for Valentine's Day), featuring Elmer Olsen's Jetanne and NAM's Tyrone, shot by Jackson Huang.,
