Bojana For months Ford Models has been singing the praises of Bojana, who was the Canadian selection to compete in the Ford Supermodel of the World contest.

Last night the world started singing along, as the Toronto-area model finished first runner up at the prestigious competition in New York.

The 14-year-old claims a US$150,000 contract with Ford (worldwide). The winner, Katsia Damenkova of Belarus, won a $250,000 contract.

Past Canadian winners have included Monika Schnarre, Tricia Helfer and Leanne Spencer. Vancouver's Ingrid Schram was a runner-up last year, and walked away with a US$100,000 contract.
