Another very recognizable name appearing in latest Flare is Kim Cloutier, who became well known beyond just the fashion world when she appeared in this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
An indication of what that kind of exposure a model gets from an appearance in SI Swimsuit: "Kim Cloutier" is the fourth most frequently searched phrase that has brought people to Modelresource in 2009.
Makeup was applied by Hung Vanngo, who recently updated his website (www.hungvanngo.com) to show more of his increasingly impressive body of work.

Sutherland's Addison Gill in Flare
The July issue of Flare is now out, and in a somewhat remarkable departure from past issues, the models are credited in the editorials.
And really, why not? When you book the likes of Addison Gill - a much loved commodity in international fashion - you know the images are going to be posted and re-posted on webpages worldwide.

Contributing Editor Matthew Lyn (www.matthewlyn.com) has been researching the Top Canadian Male Models over the past few months as part of a new Modelresource focus on the men's side of the industry.
His assignment complete (for now) means we can start rolling out the results, starting with the top five.

Meet Nicole, a fresh-faced 17-year-old from Nova Scotia who applied to Next online.
The 5'9" blue-eyed, blonde - not surprisingly - met with favourable response.
She then followed up by travelling to Montréal, where these digitals were taken.

Andii's back!
The London, Ontario native has been absent from Toronto for the past few years, after shooting Fashion, Elm Street's The Look, Flare, FQ, Glow, Highrise and LOULOU in her first few months.
Dental Hygiene school took precedence over modelling then, but with her formal studies near completion the Next model is now living in Toronto and more stunning than ever.

W Models's Anna Feller
Although we haven't seen Anna Feller's remarkably beautiful face around Toronto since November, she's still very much on Modelresource's radar.
W Models' 5'10½ blonde wisely retreated to her hometown of Vancouver before the unreasonably cold winter decended on Southern Ontario, but tells Modelresource she's ready to start modelling full time again.

Chantale Nadeau's Jordan
Here, your first look at the latest Chantale Nadeau model search winners.
Nadeau, as you likely know, has an impeccable record for launching her winners into places of prominence.
Top honours this season went to 18-year-old Jordan - a 5'10" University of Toronto student who bears a striking resemblance to Nadeau herself in earlier days.
Runner-up is 5'10", 21-year-old Iryna.

Modelresource is shining a spotlight on the Nation's Capital today, with a market profile penned by Christopher Massardo featured on our Ottawa Agency Listings.
As you will read, one of the three agencies in profile - CoverModels - is getting a big makeover.
After seven years operating from Viresh Pujara's home, the agency is expanding into a 1,400-square-foot, double studio space, working with models, photography, hair, makeup, editing, graphic artistry all in one location.
Renos are still in the works, so we don't have the new address for you yet, but below are some sneak peaks at the new space.

I had the opportunity to be in Montréal in December for Next's annual Holiday party.
And there, in a room filled with gorgeous Next models, was Renée Lacombe... in a word, breathtaking.
The native of Québec City has a long history working with Richard Bernardin, including three recent shoots now in circulation.
Pictured below are recent images from the FEMME by Sandra Angelozzi Spring/Summer 2009 campaign, S Magazine (Copenhagen) editorial, and Kill Magazine (Montréal) editorial.

Folio's Ryan Martel
It would be nearly impossible, I believe, to be living in Québec, and not have seen Ryan Martel's face.
The Folio model - who turned 16 only three months ago - has appeared in Montréal-based fashion magazines more than any other model I can think of in the past two years, often showing up in two or more publications simultaneously.
Ruby Brown finds herself on the cover of the newest Clin d'Oeil.
The Montage model has worked internationally since she was 14, appearing in magazines like Marie Claire, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Biba and Cosmopolitan, as well as ads for L'Oréal and Christian Dior.
After several years based primarily in Europe, the 5'8½" blonde is back in North America, working between New York and Montréal.

Last weekend provided beautiful conditions for shooting on a Southern Ontario beach, and Toronto photographer Andy Lee (www.andyleephotography.com) beautifully took advantage.
