Modelresource first featured the work of Zoë Bridgman last month, when the photographer - who recently relocated to Toronto following an extended stay in Vancouver - collaborated with top stylist Kelechi on this site's first industry-directed fashion feature.
Bridgman is now showcasing her latest feature; a beauty story featuring Giovanni models Jacquie, Jenna and Kate, and makeup & hair artist Jennifer Wang.

Specs' Éris Belanger
Éric Bélanger is off to a great start to his young career.
Since August, the Specs' model (mother agency Elite) has flown to Milan where he walked the runway for DSquared2 and did the Armani trunk show.
After appearing prominently on InStyle's website he then walked for Benetton's swimwear show and shot for GQ's November and December issues.
The 5'8½" brunette just moved to Canada, from Cuba.

The Canadian fashion community lost one of its brightest lights Monday evening, with the death of Hamish Kippen.
I don't know the details, but I did see the impact it had on those that knew him. There were a lot of devastated, disbelieving faces under the tents at L'Oréal Fashion Week.
The Hamish I knew was one of the kindest, most thoughtful people I had the pleasure to work with. And I don't just say that because he's gone. He really was. In this industry you deal with a lot of personalities you don't necessarily enjoy. Hamish though, was truly special.
He would ask about my wife. He would compliment me on days I put myself together well. He spoke highly of his parents. He was genuinely interested in others.
The Hamish more people knew was the phenomenally talented photographer that won the 2006 Flare Communications Award for fashion photography. His work was featured regularly on this site, and in numerous publications, campaigns and look books. He was undoubtedly one of the most talented photographers in Canada, and had fans across the industry.
The Publisher of www.supermodels.nl was one. He asked me personally to have Hamish get in contact with him, and when I checked yesterday, two of the front page features on the very popular international website were Hamish's.
I never met one model that worked with him that had a bad thing to say. Stylists and makeup artists would ask me to be introduced, because to work with Hamish Kippen was almost a guarantee of something that would stand out in your portfolio for all the right reasons. His ideas and his energy seemed endless, and the pride he took in his work was unsurpassed.
Hamish was also an enthusiastic panelist that helped decide Modelresource's Top 50 Models, and put a lot of thought into his contributions. When you put as much effort into something as I have with this site, you often question whether people take it seriously. Hamish did, and I loved him for telling me so.
Hamish Kippen was just 21-years-old, and it breaks my heart to know he's gone.

Modelresource may have been in Montréal to cover the shows, but one of the most exciting events from last week came outside Marché Bonsecour, when I bumped into Hans Koechling.
Canada's top show producer stopped me in the street Thursday and enthusiastically shared the story of Fréderique - a Chambly, PQ, resident that earlier that morning stopped by Giovanni to see if there was a place for her in the modelling industry.
Booker Dana Klyszejko immediately rushed the bilingual brunette (5'10", 32" - 24" - 34", with a striking resemblance to Freja Beha Erichsen) over to Koechling, who is currently casting for next month's Chanel show in Toronto.
Koechling assured me this girl is going to be a force in six months.
After meeting her myself on Friday, I also expect to be seeing much, much more of Fréderique.

There's a new face in Flare this month, and she goes by the name of Nicole J.
The Stylus Canada product is someone Modelresource has had its eye on for months, since she started doing castings for the last L'Oréal Fashion Week.

Specs' Chantal in LouLou
Modelresource is in Montréal right now for fashion week, but Québec's Chantal - who we first told you about in April - is passing on the shows at home in favour of bigger opportunities abroad.
The Specs model, who appears in the current issue of LouLou has been based in Paris (with Crystal) since the beginning of September, walking the runways for the likes of Yohji Yamamoto, Issey Miyake, Martin Margiela, Junya Watanabe and Yuki Tori, and sidestepping over to Oslo to shoot the cover of (and a spread in) Femina magazine.
The 16-year-old also squeezed in a shoot for Hong Kong Cosmo, and still has another week-and-a-half before returning to Canada, where she is the face of 's FW/08 campaign.

Giovanni's Judith Bedard in Fashion
There was a week in September where Giovanni direct-booked five girls on four bookings in one week.
Jessica Bokota and Stephanie Nazoyan both flew in from Montréal to join local models Ashley Hart and Tori Leach on the DSquared2 runway.
Days earlier Kirsten Owen flew in from Vermont to shoot Lida Baday's latest campaign, while Monica Vaughan jetted in to shoot Belle Magazine.
And while all that was happening, Judith Bedard was offering her remarkable image to Gabor Jurina's newest editorial for Fashion Magazine.
It's quite a different look from the Marciano campaigns currently on worldwide display, but no less compelling to the eye.

Next's Justine in Elegant Wedding
For some models it takes years to get noticed... for Justine it happened seemingly overnight.
On the 20-year-old Next model's second day she was booked by Montréal's Simon's (a very nice client with which to work) to shoot in Mexico (a very nice climate with which to work).
The 5'7" blonde, now five months into the industry, can now be seen on Smart Set billboards, and is the new face of LIMITÉ.
She has shot for Adidas and Browns, has a beauty editorial in the current Clin d'Oeil and is on the cover of Elegant Wedding.

Melissa T in Vanity Fair
Angie's is developing what might be one of the most captivating new faces on the international circuit.
Melissa T (with Giovanni in Toronto and Montréal) is a 15-year-old from Buckingham, Québec that has the kind of face you can't help but linger over.
Since signing with Race in New York the buzz on this girl has been building quickly.
The 5'8" doll has also shot for Urban Outfitters, and is lined up for some nice editorial in Montréal in the very near future.
The image on the right is from the November issue of Italian Vanity Fair.

Check out some of the latest work by Dylan K. Hanson.
The Artist Group Limited hair & makeup man has been getting his work seen worldwide in publications like BMM, a new Italian Fashion Mag that was just released last week, in conjunction with Milano Fashion Week.
I'm not sure how much say Hanson has in choosing the models, but his recent submissions happen to be some of Modelresource's favourite faces: Nelly Tsyrlin (Sutherland) and Lydia Nyilasi (Next) for BMM, Richelle Dobson (Sutherland) in Spade, and Melina Querel (Ford) in Style Monte Carlo.

MAC's Fashion Cares event - which is Toronto's largest annual volunteer effort, as well as the AIDS Committee of Toronto's most important fundraiser - is now exactly one month away.
For those models new to the Toronto market, this is a huge, and very entertaining event that involves the efforts of most of Toronto's legitimate agencies, as well as massive support from the broader fashion industry.
The theme this year is Fashion Scares, which incorporates several classic Alfred Hitchcock motifs.
Promo images for the gala event were shot near an abandoned mill in a wooded area near Guelph, by none other than Koby Inc. Pretty cool, eh?
