If you can influence our audience, you’ve connected with the most influential group of trendsetters in Canada.

Not only the most media coverage of Toronto Fashion Week, but a unique, backstage view of the week's stars.

Modelresource is beginning to post show packages from the top Toronto and Montréal agencies, in a special section of pages devoted strictly to fashion week coverage. Modelresource is the only media where these show packages can be publicly viewed.

  • Each model will have a page for their own show card, resulting in approximately 200 individual pages just in the show package section.
  • Throughout fashion week Modelresource will be backstage between shows, and will have a runway photographer in the photo pit. Highlights from each day will be posted the following morning, well ahead of nearly every other media.
  • Following fashion week Modelresource will post an event summary, noting the top agency, models, new faces, cameos, moments, and other highlights.

Dan Grant is Canada's only journalist exclusively focused on this country's dynamic modelling industry. In addition to his writings for Modelresource he has also been published in HIGHRISE Magazine, twice in Vervegirl Magazine (including the September 2007 feature interview), and most recently on He also authored the 160 page modelling manual, The Canadian Model's Resource.

Grant has owned and operated agencies in Saskatoon and Calgary, and has placed models with agencies in the U.S., Asia, Europe, Australia and, of course, right here in Canada. His formal training as a journalist, early involvement with the internet, and attention to detail enabled him to research markets and trends, giving his models a firm understanding of what to expect as they travelled to foreign markets.

He was the founding editor of the Open Directory Project's Fashion Modelling Section - a position he held for four years before resigning to concentrate on the development of Modelresource, following countless desperate e-mails received from new models and their parents in need of reliable information.

Dan Grant currently lives in Toronto's Fashion District with his actor/singer wife.
